How Can I Raise My Purchasing Limits? (Card Transactions)

Wyre offers our customers the option to increase their purchasing limits. This step-by-step guide will explain how to get your account approved for higher limits purchases.


At this time, higher limits are only available to customers in the United States, but we are actively working to give our international customers access to higher limits, so stay tuned!


If you are located in the US and would like to increase your purchasing limits for card transactions, this guide is for you!

To increase your card purchasing limits, you must access your wallet provider on a desktop or laptop computer. Once you are on a desktop or laptop, here's what you'll do next:


Note: Depending on the platform you’re using, your screen may look slightly different from the screenshots below. The process will be the same, regardless of which platform/wallet you use.

  1. Log into your wallet account.
  2. Click on the "Buy" button.
  3. Once you click the "Buy" button, select the "Continue with WYRE" option, and a new page will appear.

  4. At the checkout page, you'll see a blue banner. Click this banner. You'll then be redirected to our verification partners, Sumsub.F4023834-ECD2-4D40-A6F3-13195039370D.png
  5. Next, you'll submit your information in order complete the verification steps in order to request an increase to your purchasing limits. HLStep2.png

After completing these steps and submitting your information, you'll see the following page, which means that your information is being reviewed for higher limits purchases:


The system will take a few minutes to review your submission, and once you're approved, you'll see this page:


You have now been approved for higher limits card purchases! Woohoo! Once verification is complete, your new purchase limits will be:

  • $2,500 per transaction

  • $7,500 monthly

  • $100,000 yearly
